Last Chance Election Judge School Announced - 3/30/2005
URBANA, IL- Champaign County Clerk Mark Shelden announced that one last Election Judge School in preparation for the April 5, 2005 Consolidated General Election will be held Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 9:00am in Meeting Room #1 of the Brookens Administrative Center, 1776 E. Washington, Urbana. Please use the northeast entrance to the building. You may park in the lot on the north (back) side of the Brookens Center, off Lierman Ave.
“Being an election judge is an enjoyable and worthwhile public service,” said Shelden. “We are still in need of more election judges to serve at the upcoming April 5th election.”
Trained election judges make $90 for working election day. Judges who do not attend training will earn $65. Anyone interested in attending judges school should first contact the County Clerk’s office at 384-8600 for more information.
