Election Judge Schools Provide Opportunity For Community Service - 2/17/2004

Champaign County Clerk Mark Shelden announced the dates for election judge schools for the upcoming General Primary Election, March 16, 2004. “Being an election judge is an enjoyable and worthwhile public service,” said Shelden. Schools will be held in Savoy, Rantoul, Champaign and Urbana.

Trained election judges make $90 for working Election Day. Judges who do not attend training will earn $65. Anyone interested in attending judge school should first contact the County Clerk’s office at 384-8600 for more information.
