County Clerk Office is open between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm for voter registration.
Tuesday, October 7, 2008
Last day to register to vote in the November 4, 2008 election. County Clerk Office is open till 5:00pm and the Registration Kiosks are open until midnight.
In order to register to vote, a person must be a United States Citizen, 18 years of age on or before the next election and a permanent resident in his or her precinct for thirty (30) days prior to the election. Two forms of identification are required, one of which must show your permanent residence in Champaign County.
Mr. Shelden urges all permanent residents of Champaign County to take advantage of this opportunity to register to vote. If you cannot make the registration event, please feel free to come to the County Clerk’s Office at 1776 E Washington, Urbana, between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday or call 384-3724.
