Early Voting Schedule

Pursuant to Article 19A of the Illinois Election Code, Early Voting for the General Election for all Champaign County Precincts will be conducted at the Office of the Champaign County Clerk at 1776 E. Washington in Urbana.

Dates for Early Voting for the November General Election - November 2, 2010

Monday, October 11, 2010, Columbus Day - 8:00am to 4:30pm at the Champaign County Clerk's Office (Office open for Early Voting ONLY)

Tuesday, October 12, 2010 thru Friday, October 15, 2010 - 8:00am to 4:30pm at the Champaign County Clerk's Office

Saturday, October 16, 2010 and Sunday, October 17, 2010 - 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Champaign County Clerk's Office

Monday, October 18, 2010 thru Friday, October 22, 2010 - 8:00am to 4:30pm at the Champaign County Clerk's Office

Saturday, October 23, 2010 and Sunday, October 24, 2010 - 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Champaign County Clerk's Office

Monday, October 25, 2010 thru Thursday, October 28, 2010 - 8:00am to 4:30pm at the Champaign County Clerk's Office

 

 

Any voter validly registered in Champaign County may vote at the County Clerk’s office during the early voting period after showing proper identification, however, any vote cast is final, and may not be revoked, and the voter is not eligible to cast a vote on election day.

An absentee/early applicant's identity must be verified by presentation of an IL driver's license, IL ID card, or another government issued ID containing the applicant's photograph. If the person is a first time voter required to show ID, the acceptable forms of ID include: a current and valid photo ID, a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, a student ID along with a lease or other government document that shows name and address. A voter registration card is not acceptable identification.
